Who is responsible

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable to customers in the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we actually collect

QueueHawk is a monitoring product for Hangfire background jobs. What it collects is scoped narrowly to what that requires:

• Account data: the email address and password (hashed, never stored in plaintext) you register with, and the name you give your tenant/workspace. Team invites additionally store the invited email address.
• Job metadata sent by the QueueHawk.Agent: job type, queue name, state transitions and timestamps, and — on failure — the exception type, message, and stack trace. Job arguments and payloads are never sent unless you explicitly opt in — this is a deliberate design decision, not a default we're asking you to trust blindly (see how the agent works).
• Billing data: handled by Stripe, our payment processor. QueueHawk never sees or stores your card details — Stripe's own privacy policy governs that data.
• Notification channel targets: Slack/Teams/webhook URLs or email addresses you configure for alerts, encrypted at rest.
• Server log data: standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure, not linked to a specific person beyond what's operationally necessary for security and debugging.

What we deliberately don't use

Unlike many marketing websites, QueueHawk's site and product don't use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook or LinkedIn tracking pixels, or third-party marketing platforms like HubSpot. Analytics on this website run on Plausible, self-hosted on our own infrastructure — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no data shared with a third-party analytics vendor. The only cookie-equivalent storage the product itself uses is a login token kept in your browser's local storage after you sign in, purely to keep you logged in.

Where your data is hosted

QueueHawk is developed and hosted entirely in Switzerland — infrastructure, database, and application all run on servers located in Switzerland, not in a generic "EU region" of a foreign cloud provider. Email delivery (invites, alert notifications) is sent via Microsoft Graph under a dedicated Azure tenant.

Data retention

• Job event/history data is retained for 7–365 days depending on your plan (see pricing) and then deleted automatically.
• Account and tenant data is kept for as long as your account exists, and deleted on request or a reasonable period after account closure to satisfy accounting/legal retention obligations.

Legal basis for processing

We process account and billing data to perform the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / contractual necessity under the FADP), and job metadata as part of delivering the monitoring service you signed up for. Where we rely on legitimate interest (e.g. server security logs), that interest is limited to operating and securing the service.

Sub-processors

We use a small number of specialized providers to run the service, each under their own data processing terms: Stripe (payment processing), Microsoft (Azure/Microsoft Graph, transactional email). We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, for any purpose.

Your rights

Under the FADP and, where applicable, the GDPR, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@queuehawk.com. Account and job data can also be managed directly from the dashboard.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered account holders.
